Structural Beam Wraps (Skins)

This is a procedure where we cut a slab directly from a large Hand Hewn or Rough Sawn wood beam. This is now called a “decorative skin” or “wrap” which is wrapped to an existing beam or by creating a box beam. Skins are used in many decorating and remodeling projects to enhance the authentic character of reclaimed wood!
