Structural Beam Wraps (Skins)
This is a procedure where we cut a slab directly from a large Hand Hewn or Rough Sawn wood beam. This is now called a “decorative skin” or “wrap” which is wrapped to an existing beam or by creating a box beam. Skins are used in many decorating and remodeling projects to enhance the authentic character of reclaimed wood! |

Skins can also be used on exterior projects creating the log cabin appearance. |

Hand Hewn Beam Wraps (Skins) are the outer face of a beam that has been sawn to a determined thickness to be used to wrap a structural beam. |
